Topolov's recent attitude "i'm not studying THAT much- I don't fret about finding the BEST move" makes some sense to me.

Other people are more driven and have a different reaction - "An intense will to win". IMHO, its a personality thing- at least to a point.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03801353514449135462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6393640898640561043.post-64930082908277636802015-08-20T16:41:53.375-04:002015-08-20T16:41:53.375-04:00I agree! And health is vital.

I think trying to "prepare" or cram before a game only gets a person into a bad and harried mental state.

The caveat to that is if they think better in that state (which some people do!)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6393640898640561043.post-70627169234315956652015-08-17T22:18:04.176-04:002015-08-17T22:18:04.176-04:00I think for me it's much more of a swing. Conversely, I'm at least 100 points lower when lacking energy, due to an increased number of missed opportunities for myself and overlooked threats from my opponent.ChessAdminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02231584333139931889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6393640898640561043.post-18803433707447367372015-08-17T06:18:27.123-04:002015-08-17T06:18:27.123-04:00My performance in chss is close related to my phys...My performance in chss is close related to my physical condition.
